FF&E

Besides the Technical Building Installations and the Technical Contract Work, FF&E is the third core service section in the renovation or initial fit-out of a hotel. FF&E stands for “Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment”. This term summarizes all the hotel furnishings. It includes all movable parts that are not physically connected to the property, as well as parts that can be disconnected from the property without damage. Frequently, property owners and FF&E purchasers will compile a corresponding interface list or an FF&E register in order to avoid issues when defining areas of responsibility.

TKS implements FF&E for all interior areas: rooms and corridors, public areas including reception, restaurant, bar, lobby and meetings rooms, also elevators and employee and administration rooms.

FF&E is offered as a stand-alone service or in connection with technical finishing work and TBI. For each project, TKS works out individual solutions that can be executed during regular hotel operation. Services include furnishings, furniture and inventory in a quality appropriate for the property and in compliance with legal requirements regarding fire safety and soundproofing.

TKS further offers design support. The company’s design department transforms any design concept from the client into viable solutions. In-house interior designers consult and make recommendations for the budget-conforming implementation of the design draft, taking into account the regulations of the respective country. If desired, TKS also develops design concepts.

The experienced TKS project management directs the entire project: starting with the individual consulting and planning, logistics and fit-outs to on-site coordination at the construction site.
