Hotel Renovation with a Talent for Logistics. 

 

The Radisson Blu Hotel Zurich Airport is located directly at the airport and features 330 rooms and suites. Its direct connection to the terminal makes the hotel a key destination for international business and leisure travelers.

TKS renovated all 330 rooms and bathrooms while the hotel remained open for business. The phased implementation required precise coordination of construction processes and close collaboration with the hotel.

A particular challenge was the limited availability of storage space on the airport grounds. Materials and fixtures were therefore delivered as needed and supplemented by external storage. This allowed the individual floors to be renovated according to schedule and gradually reopened for hotel operations.

Subsequently, TKS also modernized the hotel’s public areas. The reception desk, lobby, bar, restaurant, and restrooms were given a new look. This integrated the guest rooms and public areas into a cohesive overall concept, both in terms of design and functionality.
