CLAYTON HOTEL TIERGARTEN

A New Level of Hotel Comfort in the Heart of Berlin.

The first Clayton Hotel in Berlin is being built in the Tiergarten Tower. The building on Straße des 17. Juni is undergoing extensive renovation and is being redesigned to meet the requirements of a modern four-star hotel.

TKS and TKS Engineering are responsible for key planning and construction services as a single-source provider. The scope of work ranges from interior design and the development of the model room, through demolition and dismantling, to complete implementation as the general contractor.

All 274 rooms will be thoroughly renovated and given a new design concept. The public areas will also be comprehensively redesigned. Plans include a restaurant, a bar, spacious meeting and event spaces, and a fitness and wellness area with a sauna and steam room.

Another focus is on the energy optimization of the technical systems. Modern air conditioning and ventilation systems, as well as a fossil-fuel-free hot water supply, will help reduce the building’s energy consumption and lay the groundwork for sustainable hotel operations.

The project is being carried out within a mixed-use hotel and office complex. Planning, demolition, renovation, and technical work are therefore closely coordinated and carried out with due consideration for neighboring uses.
